The Moon is in Aquarius, near its first quarter, climbing toward full.

What does the Sun or Moon in Aquarius mean?

Aquarius is a fixed air sign ruled by Saturn in the classical scheme, and it reads as standing slightly outside a group in order to see it clearly.

An Aquarius Sun runs about a month, roughly late January into mid February. An Aquarius Moon lasts about two and a half days and tends to read as needing a bit of distance, thinking in systems, and preferring the friend group to the intense one to one.

Fixed means the position holds, and air means the position is an idea. That is why Aquarius can be both stubborn and inventive at once. Its cost is that observing from outside can become a way of never joining in, and stepping in is always available.

Undersky reads the seven classical bodies, so Aquarius is given to Saturn here rather than to a modern ruler, and it is measured from the equinox like every other tropical sign.
