Venus and Mars stand about ninety degrees apart today, a square, which astrologers read as friction between two ways of moving. The Moon is in Aquarius, past full and thinning. Mercury is retrograde.

What is a waning gibbous moon?

A waning gibbous moon is the stage just after full, when the Moon is still more than half lit but the light is receding.

Illumination falls from near one hundred percent back toward half, and the Moon rises later each night, so it is the one you notice in the early morning rather than the evening.

Read as a stage, this is the part of the cycle where something that became visible gets explained, shared or taught. The energy is outward but no longer building.

A simple use is to tell someone what you learned in the first half of the month while you still remember the details.
