What is a conjunction in astrology?
A conjunction is two bodies at the same degree of the zodiac, so close together that they read as one combined influence rather than two separate ones.
The exact angle is zero degrees, and an aspect is called exact on a daily page when the two bodies reach that angle within the day. Astrologers allow an orb of a few degrees either side, so a conjunction is felt before and after the exact moment.
Whether a conjunction reads as easy or demanding depends entirely on which two bodies are involved. Venus with Jupiter and Mars with Saturn are both conjunctions, and they have very little in common.
The useful question is not what the conjunction does to you, but what these two parts of you are being asked to do at the same time.
